Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5, known in Japan as Biohazard 5 (バイオハザード5 ,Baiohazādo Faibu?), is the seventh installment in the Resident Evil survival horror video game series for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was developed and published by Capcom. Capcom officially announced Resident Evil 5 on July 20, 2005 and it was released on March 5, 2009 in Japan and March 13, 2009 in North America and Europe.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Confirmed in PS3

In the latest issues of a Japanese gaming magazine, an article about Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 appeared, confirming that the game for PS3. Yeap. You've heard it. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 already confirmed by Tecmo. Yosuke Hayashi is the director for this game. Here is the scan from the famitsu magazine.

Some translations of the text:
- It will be upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden 2 (not a direct port)
- Releasing in autumn 2009
- The magazine will be reporting new elements in coming issues

Final Fantasy XIII to be released in EU before US?

Rumours are currently flying around referring to Final Fantasy XIII being planned for release in Japan and Europe (2008) before North America (2009).
Versus XIII also follows suit with release apparently being planned to hit Japan (December 2008) before North America (2009). However Europe is expected to see this title last on shop shelves.
There are however no rumours about Agito XIII, the other title to make up the confirmed XIII trilogy.
IGN seems sure these rumours are true and have scrabbled in the dates of the expected release.
We at Final Fantasy Series are less optimistic. Personally my head tells me a Mid-2009 launch for XIII and Versus. And perhaps a earlier date for Agito XIII - that is if they dont release all the games together. Whether it will be a simultaneous worldwide release is another question…
